Grandpa Cheetos needs your help! 🧡❤️‍🩹

Cheetos is about 10 years old, a beautiful male ginger long hair cat, who has been staying at our shelter since November 2023. Over the last few months, he has been eating less and less, and last weekend we noticed he’s got some discharge coming from his mouth.

After a vet check, it turns out that Cheetos has an oral ulcer and severe gingivitis. Some of the tooth root is exposed. This condition is very painful for him.

One option is dental extraction.

But the anesthesia is a risk for an elderly cat. Therefore, we will try pain meds and topical oral meds, first.

Cheetos is now admitted at the vet’s until he’s feeling better, he will need wet food daily, as he is unable to chew kibbles.

We’re urgently looking for a foster home for our dear Cheetos, where he can get the love and care that he needs! Administering daily meds and feeding a special diet is very hard to do at the shelter, where we are overwhelmed with too many cats and dogs.

WHO CAN HELP US HELP CHEETOS???

- Fostering or adopting Cheetos, to give him a good couple of last years, which he deserves

- Donating wet food for him

- Donating funds for his medical bills

- Volunteering at our shelter, to help feed him his meds and wet food
