Dear all,

We have a long way to go. Gasing has also sent us a letter and electric bill has joined the ensemble. Yesterday someone, using a fake account, said we should shut down our sanctuary instead of ‘begging like beggars.” We suppose we have no choice but to beg to ensure our dogs wellbeing and save our existence. Please help if you are able to. Truly appreciated. We have these to settle:

1) A big fat accumulated bill at Gasing incurred treating our old, disabled and dying doggos.

2) Chicken bill which cannot be settled due to slow fundraising

3) Water bill of RM13,000 and TNB bill of RM5K+ which is yet to be settled due to shortage in amount raised

4) Urgent repair works due to cracks which appeared in our shelter kitchen

5) End of the month commitments which requires rental, utilities and allowances to be paid lurking around the corner.

We are trying our best to be self-sustainable but that is yet to be achieved. Please save our lives and prevent us from disappearing into oblivion. Since there are multiple needs, we have to organise a single fundraiser and disburse the funds accordingly.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
