Xmas, Another Sporo Cat (a Sharing By So Eileen)

Here is another sharing on a sporo-cat who healed with Yunnan Baiyao.

From So Eileen:

Speaking of Tiger’s case on Sporo with FIV+, I had a rescued cat named Xmas back in year 2017 or 2018. He was infected with Sporo and upon bringing him to the vet for further checking, he was FIV+ too. The vet refused to treat him and advised us to put him to sleep.

The same thing happened with Tiger too. Because he was FIV+, the first vet I took him to refused to treat him as well. I had to take him to another vet who turned out to be a very compassionate vet who would never turn away any animal. He is also a no-kill vet. Tiger recovered in 88 days.

Continuing Xmas’ story…

We bought him home, called my friend (the rescuer staying in my neighbourhood) if he could temporarily foster him back to health. He agreed and I guided him through on treating Xmas’ wound using Yun Nan Bai Yao for his wound dressing daily and at the same time giving him the TCM one capsule per day (mixed into his canned food).

Xmas healed under my friend and I am forever grateful to him. He did not give up on Xmas when the vet told me to give him up due to his FIV+ condition.

My friend helped to foster him until his sporo healed and the wounds had dried up. Then he was released back to our neighborhood. It was impossible to keep him and we believe he value his freedom on the street and would drop by to visit us once in a blue moon. Last heard from my friend, Xmas had got himself a wife and they had 4 daughters too. My friend is currently fostering Xmas’ daughters and feeding them too. But after that, my friend got him neutered!!

Xmas, after being neutered!!
