I gave him another dose of Sucralfate (it is to coat the stomach to patch up any bleeds) and decided to try some Glucolin water. I was surprised that he didn’t mind it at all.
So I tried some Japanese milk and Indy didn’t object, he swallowed all of it, given bit by bit. It was very little as I didn’t want to push it. But if he doesn’t protest, at least that’s some food for him.
I will play it by ear. That’s all I can do now. If he rejects it, I will not force it.
The vet had to shave his side today to check if the bleeding was from the subcut prick. It wasn’t. It was vomit. Indy lost a lot of blood through the three vomitus this morning. It was really scary. After coming home from the vet’s when Indy was asleep from the morphine, I had to mop up the floor so many times. The blood was all over the floor.
