Jia-Wen brought Jayden over to visit Indy today.

I have not seen Jayden for so many days now.

Hi Indy!

Jayden is helping me with Indy’s feeding.

Jayden played with Ginger too.

And later, with Riley too.

Meanwhile, Indy’s vet texted to ask about him and I told her the details. Based on Indy’s condition and blood test results yesterday, it was unlikely for him to have pulled through yesterday, but here he is today. So the vet will provide the Ranitidine jabs for two more days (since she won’t be at work for the next two days) and I also asked for the Darbepoetin jab which can be administered subcutaneously which I can do myself. Husband went to collect the medication and I have already administered the Darbepoetin jab now.

The vet also said I could give Indy 100ml subcut and monitor him. I have done that already and so far, now, it’s been more than one hour and he is well.

Yesterday, it was coincidentally shortly after the subcut that Indy vomited blood so we could not rule out if it had something to do with the subcut. Looks like it did not. The vet also had to shave off a lot of fur on Indy’s side to check if there was any injury which had resulted in the bloody vomitus, but it wasn’t due to the subcut needle prick too. It was vomitus from the stomach. The blood test results finally ascertained this conclusion. But I understand all those procedures had to be done because we had to do everything possible to stop the bleeding if there was anymore of it.

Moments are all we have. All of us.
