The whining has been unbearable. And it’s in the dead of the night until the wee hours of morning.
Nobody has any peace at all. We cannot sleep. All the other cats are also awakened by the constant nonstop loud and shrill whining.
It’s just a matter of time before the neighbours lodge a complaint and that itself could endanger the safety of all our other cats.
So, I had to release Gerald back to the outdoors.
From what we know, Misty should follow too, but Misty didn’t want to go back out.
We kept the Blondies, Samantha, Tabs and Riley confined so that we could open all the doors to let Misty out, but she stayed put in Bunny’s Place.
After trying for more than 30 minutes, we were drenched in sweat and Misty just stayed put.
Maybe she doesn’t want to go back out tonight.
Will try again tomorrow morning.
There is no more whining now….at last!
I hope Gerald is happy. We tried to give him a home, but not every cat is meant to stay indoors. Perhaps Gerald has so many homes to go visit every day and he is happier that way.
Stay safe, Gerald. You’ve got back your freedom now and hopefully, we can catch up on our sleep now.
It’s been a crazy last two days because my mother had a fall and was admitted in the hospital. Thankfully, all is well after numerous scans and she’s back home now. Tough as nails….at 91.
I really, really need a good night’s rest.
