I did not take Robin to the vet’s today for his balding issue, but I took photos to show the vet.

Since he is itching, it is more than a cosmetic problem and needs to be addressed.
The vet said it could be due to a food allergy problem too and the only way would be to restrict him to just one single protein for about 2 months!
No one else has this balding problem in the Catio, only Robin.
The vet also advised me to put Advocate spot-on for Robin on a monthly basis and this time, I will be very, very careful with it!
Besides that, shampooing him with a medicated shampoo once or twice a week would also help.
So, we did the shampoo just now!! And I’m all wet now.

This is the shampoo.
I showered Robin in the sink. Haha….no photos. After lathering him, I have to let the shampoo stay on for at least 7 minutes, so I wrapped him with a towel and held him.
All in, it was a bit of a struggle but not impossible. It just needs a lot of strength to hold him down. Good Blue Zone exercise for me!

This is wiping him down after the shower.

He liked the massage!

Clean Robin!!
