Nomi’s surgery to repair her diaphragmatic hernia is this afternoon.
It is a very high risk surgery and the chances of success is 50-50. But without the surgery, she would have breathing difficulty which will just deteriorate and she would endure much suffering. We have checked with several vets and surgery is the only option to save her life.
Please think of Nomi for the next few hours and wish her well. It is expected to be a long surgery because it has been two weeks since the injury and organ adhesion is most likely to have happened by now. Nomi is young kitten and exposure to general anaesthesia carries risk.
So we really, really need everyone’s best wishes for her.
We thank you so much for your kindness.
To everyone who has donated for her surgery, we thank you very, very much.
