If Heidi was our taiji cat, Misty is now our gardening cat!
I wanted to plant a tree here to create some jungle-like atmosphere or at least some leafy shade for the Stargate platforms, but whatever we plant now, it cannot have any bushy undergrowth. It cannot have hiding places for reptiles. It must have a thin trunk, so we found this lemon tree.
Lemons! Hopefully, in a month’s time!
Misty was following me around the garden.
This is a sunkist tree. The fruit will be green with slight yellow when ripened. It won’t be orange coloured. We shall see…
Misty takes a rest while I continue to do my gardening.
This is a fig tree.
Our garden is actually overgrown with this weed, I’m not sure of the name, though. Because of the grubworms (beetle larvae), we have decided to live and let live!
If you look closely, you can see a layer of thick green moss. Underneath it is where the grub worms live.
