Sugar Dangerous. Not All Sugar Is Safe For Humming..

SUGAR DANGEROUS!!!

Not all sugar is safe for hummingbirds. Did you know that ORGANIC sugar, confectionery, sugar, brown sugar, honey, cornstarch and other sweeteners are very dangerous. They can cause a fungus on the hummingbirds tongue, which makes it impossible to eat. The birds starve to death. Please use only , plain refined white sugar. The ratio is four parts water to one part sugar. And never add Kool-Aid or red dye of any kind to your feeder. Feeders must be washed twice a week to clear black mold And bacteria which is also very harmful. Please scrub all of the feeding port with a tiny brush to remove mold. Sugar water should be kept no more than a week in the refrigerator. And it’s best not to keep it in the sun for more than three days. It takes just a little bit of thoughtfulness to properly help our hummingbird friends.
