On Christmas, we rescued this mother cow from slaughter. Today, she gave birth to a calf (seen lying here in the grass a moment after birth). Both are forever protected in the sanctuary.

QUICK RESCUE TOMORROW! Tomorrow, we hope to rescue another very old mother cow and her calf. She and her baby are the last of a herd being sold off. They will be separated and there is no good end for either of them without us. Despite what “milk” culture teaches, mother cows grieve deeply when separated from their calves.
