People’s attitudes towards animals are shaped from an early age. Children naturally possess a deep sense of empathy, a gift that must be nurtured and protected as they grow, despite the external influences that might diminish it.

Soi Dog Foundation’s Humane Education programme, starting from primary school, is dedicated to cultivating these values by sensitising young minds to the suffering of animals, fostering empathy and compassion🧡

Today, on #InternationalDayOfFamilies, we’re filled with joy as we share these heartwarming drawings from children who visited Soi Dog’s Gill Dalley Sanctuary. Each picture tells a beautiful story, but one especially touching drawing shows a beloved dog in the sky, lovingly remembered by its young owner🌈🐶

Families come in all shapes and sizes, and today, we celebrate every family that includes our furry friends.

Together, we are creating a world where every animal is treated with kindness and respect, and it’s incredible to see the impact our education programme is having on young hearts🐾

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals. Soi Dog also has a treatment facility in Bangkok and responds to crisis situations throughout Thailand.
