A small dog like Shura was most certainly a companion animal for most of his life. He was a part of a family. And then, we believe, he was abandoned 🥺.

This International Day of Families, we want to bring awareness to the circumstances that far too many animals find themselves in: abandoned, confused and heartbroken.

Abandonment is a crime and it causes unimaginable suffering to dogs like Shura 💔.

Shura was found in terrible condition. Our vets diagnosed him with fungal dermatitis, otitis externa with yeast infection, dry eye, and anaemia. His medical notes state that he was, “screaming and fearful.”

Thankfully, the donations of animal lovers like yourself enabled us to give sweet Shura the care he so desperately needed. Today, he continues to receive special treatment for his chronic skin condition, but instead of fear this lovely little chap walks around with a little grin on his face. 🐶
