Ferrow Found A Home, A Family And Her Adventurous ..

Ferrow found a home, a family and her adventurous side! 😻

Little Ferrow arrived at Soi Dog back in 2022. She had suffered greatly during the first few weeks of her life and needed urgent treatment for two severely infected eyes.

Unfortunately, Ferrow’s left eye had to be surgically removed, but our vets were able to save her right.

Just over a year later, Ferrow was chosen by our wonderful partner rescue Homeward Trails Animal Rescue in Washington D.C, USA. 🇺🇸 With their help, and the help of Crumbs & Whiskers Kitten & Cat Café, she soon found her perfect home.

Here’s what Ferrow’s family have to say about their resilient, ready-to-go girl:

“Ferrow has brought so much love and joy into our lives from the start! She is very playful and always up for some fun. So much so, we have food puzzles for her to occupy her mind while we’re working. She especially loves to play fetch with her spring toys and chase any toy with feathers. She also has learned tricks including sit, stay, jumping through a hoop, and high five.

She is very curious about the outside word, so we harness and leash trained her and now little walks in the park have become one of her favorite past times.

Shortly after adopting her, we learned that we needed to move. After having her only a couple months, she became a surprisingly good adventure buddy as we spent 5 weeks in Colombia. She even went on a hike with us!

Having one eye really has not seemed to hold her back at all. She is amazingly talented at catching things (even flies!) and she climbs her cat tower fearlessly (including our shelves, dressers, and windows).

She is a tiny kitty with a big place in our hearts. We love her so much and we are so incredibly grateful to the Soi Dog team that rescued her and brought her back to health.

She is very resilient, and something tells me part of that is because she was very well loved and cared for during her journey to recovery. Thank you Soi Dog Foundation!”
