When you welcome an animal into your home, they become family. They love you, they trust you, and they rely upon you. Arlecchino certainly loved, trusted and relied upon her family.

Yet her owners heartlessly abandoned her, leaving her to endure hunger, a skin infection and immense heartbreak. Arlecchino waited for her family to come back, but they never did 💔.

Thankfully, a kind animal lover took in and fed Arlecchino before alerting our team. This sweet girl was taken to our hospital, where she received the love and medical care she very much needed. Arlecchino is now living at our Sanctuary, bringing joy to all who cross paths with her – her gorgeous smile and strong spirit are a testament to her resilience 💪🏻🐶.

Sadly, abandonment is a cruel reality for many dogs and cats. While we cannot change the past of animals like Arlecchino, with your help, we can certainly give them all the support they need and try mend their broken hearts with love and security.
