Other than avians, freshwater turtles, like the River Terrapin, also gets caught in the fishing gears that are left unguarded in the river.

It is one of the threats that contribute to the declining of their population.

Our team patrols the Kemaman River every now and then to remove and discard the gears.

Together we can save the wildlifes and spread the awareness throughout the community 💪🏻

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011.
