95 Packs Of Dogfood Sent To Meiji In Raub Today

Today, the 95 packs of Sportmix (20kg each) were transported to Raub. Meiji has already received the food.

We wish to thank all our donors once again for contributing towards this round of fundraising for Meiji’s dogs. If you look at the list of donors, it took 41 people (and their friends) to raise the funds to enable the purchase of 95 packs after we topped up the figure from our Food Fund. This is the “working together” that we have been aiming to achieve since we started and we are glad it is manifesting. Every little bit counts and matters. Thank you, everyone.

�The rendezvous was at PAWS this morning. The supplier’s lorry arrived in time for the lorry-to-lorry transfer. Jeen’s lorry was early.

�These three packs of Eagle are donated by Daniel Azlan. Thank you, Daniel.

�All loaded, covered, and ready to make the journey from Subang to Raub.

At around 1.50pm, Meiji sent these photos below. The lorry had arrived in Raub, and this time, Meiji has a phone which can take photos and doesn’t have to trouble her sister anymore.

It would take Meiji 7 to 8 trips up and down the hill to transport the food up, but she says it is ok, the dogs need the food. She brought tarpaulin sheets to cover the food in case of the rain. Luckily it did not rain today. There are no proper roads up to Meiji’s place and this is as far as the lorry can go.

�Can’t load the jeep too heavily because of the rocky terrain, and this is an old jeep.
