For cats suffering from Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), an otherwise superficial wound can be a death sentence. If Keesha had not found his way to our hospital, he may not have survived.
FeLV is an incurable viral disease that can affect cats of all ages. It ravages their immune systems, drastically shortening their lifespan as they become more susceptible to other viral and bacterial infections. Without adequate medical care and support, FeLV positive cats often cross the rainbow bridge way before their time – but with supportive care and proper veterinary attention, they can live a happy and comfortable life just like our boy Keesha.
Because of the kindness of an animal lover just like you, sweet Keesha is now safe and much loved in our FeLV Suite at the Gill Dalley Sanctuary. It’s easy to see how contented he is whenever visitors are around as he chatters and rushes over for a cuddle 😻.
By joining our Care for Cats Club, you can help to ensure cats like Keesha continue to receive the care and love they need and deserve💞 Will you be there for them? Click here to join the club🫶🏻 https://links.soidog.org/care-for-cats-like-keesha
