We are currently in a fix over this doggo. Doggo was rescued by a cat rescuer last week and was believed to have been suffering at the same spot for a while. She admitted it at Gasing but they could not do much there as it required orthopedic surgery. Doggo has to broken legs and both sides of its pelvis are also fractured. The dog was transferred to BPVC and we managed to raise about RM3,000 for it. Unfortunately, the surgeon is away on leave and will only be back next week. Meanwhile, the dogs broken bones are fast fusing and it needs surgery immediately and the only option is Mayo Vet as they do orthopedic surgery there. But the problem is that we have to pay a deposit of RM2,500 for the surgery to be done soonest. Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
