Soi Dog Foundation, In Partnership With Chulalongk..

Soi Dog Foundation, in partnership with Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, organised training sessions focusing on veterinary public health practices in pets for the students of academic year 2023. 🏫

These sessions aimed to deepen students’ understanding of animal welfare management and disease control between animals and humans within shelters. This initiative, conducted six times from August 2023 to January 2024, engaged 44 students, with the next phase starting in August.

The students had the chance to visit our mobile sterilisation unit, gaining insights into our mission on managing stray animal population and ending rabies in Thailand through our Catch, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return (CNVR) programme. CNVR is proven to be the most effective and humane solution to address the overpopulation crisis of free-roaming dogs and cats.

A heartfelt thank you to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Chulalongkorn University for allowing Soi Dog to share our experiences and knowledge in supporting Thailand’s stray animals. 🌟🐾

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
