Chellie Is Now A Confident Canadian Girl. Its Amaz..

Chellie is now a confident Canadian girl! 🇨🇦

It’s amazing what a loving home can do. During Chellie’s (shelter name Echellia) many years at Soi Dog, she was nervous in nature – a hangover from a tough life spent on the streets.

However, since joining her family in Ontario, Canada, in 2021, she’s blossomed into the very best version of herself. 🥰 Here’s a recent update:

“We love Chellie very much and we feel she is enjoying her life with us too. She has made great progress since arriving in Canada and is now very comfortable with her surroundings.

❄️ She especially likes the winter, playing and sometimes rolling in the snow. It’s winter here now so she wears the full regalia on our walks – undergarment, harness, winter coat, belly warmer, and sometimes booties for the really cold days. She’s fine with it all. Such a patient girl!

🐕 She is very good on the lead when we go for a good walk, often different routes and sometimes different places. She loves a routine and can manage quite well when things change a bit.

🛣️ We have taken her on a few long road trips with lots of breaks and she settles in quite well. She is very good in the car now. She has stayed with us at a motel and friend’s places with other dogs. We have been careful about introductions – all works out harmoniously.

🧠 She is a very sweet, intelligent, careful, observant, playful and goofy at times little girl. She has learned many commands and we feel there is nothing she couldn’t learn!

🧡 She brings us a lot of joy and we love having her in our lives. Our friends have loved meeting her and finding out about Soi Dog.”

While our dogs are now unable to be adopted to Canada on account of the CFIA ban, they can find homes in the USA, Europe and here in Thailand.
