Yesterday was a busy day for the team despite it being our weekend 💪🏻

Right after sembahyang Jumaat, our Terrapin Guardians split into two smaller teams and spent many hours on two nesting banks to prepare for the upcoming nesting season.

We cleared some bushes to make way for a campsite, erected our camps, and ensured that the team would be shielded completely from nesting female terrapins during the night.

Our Terrapin Guardians will be spending many nights in these camp sites (roughly 2 months), patrolling the nesting banks, and securing terrapin eggs for conservation.
