Dogfood For Meiji, From Healing Rooms

Last week, Healing Rooms donated three packs of Orijen dogfood to any of the rescuers that we are supporting with our Food Fund. Since Meiji is in dire need of dogfood, we decided to give the three packs to her dogs.
It’s Orijen – really super premium food.
Meiji came down yesterday to send Herculis for his Heartworm treatment and for this round, Herculis needed two injections on two consecutive days. So, Meiji brought Herculis down yesterday and boarded a night for the two jabs. This round, the treatment is fully sponsored by a good samaritan.
Meiji came down again today, to collect Herculis, so she dropped in to collect the Orijen food. That’s Fui Fui with her. She is 11 years old and is Meiji’s driving companion, follows everywhere she goes and LOVES car rides. A round trip from Raub to KL and back takes SIX hours, and Meiji does this often as she has many elderly dogs who need medical treatment.
The cage is for Herculis, not Fui Fui. Fui Fui sits at the front seat with Meiji. Afer all, she’s the driving companion.

This is Meiji’s old jeep. Old it may be, but it has served her well in the rescue of numerous dogs, all the way from the rocky terrains in Raub to KL and back.
