On Tuesday 2/1/2024, We Received A Phone Call From..

On Tuesday 2/1/2024, we received a phone call from Cik Sofia, telling us that a mother dog has been involved in a road accident in Sentul but she managed to crawl into her house compound 4 days ago. In the meantime Sofia has tried frantically to contact animal shelters and NGOs around but no one was willing to help.

We TNR, we don’t respond to public’s calls on rescue although we would if it happens right in front of us. Somehow, we sent her the contact of our volunteer and independent rescuer Sally and see if she could help. She responded but now there’s a problem. Medical costs.

Sofia called us back and told us of her apprehensions, we have had situations as such, we know if we don’t step in, the poor dog wouldn’t be rescued. Though we are in debts but saving lives is more important. We believe somehow He will provide, one way or the other, He always does. So the dog was rescued and sent to our panel clinic. Thanks so much Sally for the swift response.

She has six pups and according to a stall owner nearby, one pup was eaten by a monitor lizard. That’s the cruel reality of stray life.

After check up, it shows that one of her pelvic bones was broken and she needs time to recuperate and we will board her for sometime for observations. She may not walk like normal again. We will see how it heals. Her 5 pups have reunited with her. We have no other choice but to take them into our transit centre when she’s ready to be discharged.

We hope what we did was commendable and please help us with the medical bill later which will be included in our monthly post for donations. Thank you.
