We Can See It In Deweys Eyes That He Appreciates W..

“We can see it in Dewey’s eyes that he appreciates what he has.” 🥺

Dewey (shelter name Loviatha) was admitted to the Soi Dog shelter in April 2019 as it was no longer safe for him to live on the streets. He’d been poisoned a few weeks before but had fortunately survived thanks to a kind lady who sought treatment at a nearby vet clinic.

Not long after his arrival, in September, Dewey was chosen to join our partner rescue The Barking Lot in in San Diego, USA 🇺🇸 And not long after that, in December, he found a home!

In celebration of his 4th Gotcha Day, his mum sent us the following update:

“Dewey was unsure of his surroundings the first night but immediately warmed up to me, his mom, and always keeps guard over me and loves to be cuddled at any opportunity.

He LOVES walks around the neighborhood and the adventure of car rides as long as we are together. He is the sweetest boy and loves people. He greets everyone gently and just asks for a scratch in return.

He is very well-behaved whenever visiting a new place and family. He loves visiting Grandma and Grandpa in Arizona and enjoys it when they come and stay with him. He’s grandpa’s biggest helper in the kitchen.

When I met my husband in June 2020, Dewey adopted him well (LOL)! Ever since, Dewey has been loved by two parents and experiencing life in San Diego.

Earlier this year, a puppy sister named Zelda joined the family. Zelda is from a rescue in Mexico and absolutely adores Dewey. She made Dewey younger and it’s great to see Dewey’s playfulness shine.

We can see it in Dewey’s eyes that he appreciates what he has and we feel the deep unconditional love he has for us. He’s the bestest of boys! Thank you for all that you do!”
