Dear all,

1. As a non-profit MDDB is prohibited from making profits. But we must try and experiment on how to become a social enterprise to generate income for long term sustainability. It may or may not work – but we must give it a try. We have been advised to become a Sdn Bhd for this purpose. Any advice?

2. Since we want more participation, we are also thinking of registering an MDDB Society. What do you all think?

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
