We’ve just become aware that the 2 dogs that were found in Desa Sri Hartamas came from the same household and both were dumped by their owner. We know who their owner is and he has admitted to dumping these dogs. Dog dumping is a crime under the Animal Welfare Act 2015 and reports will be made to the relevant authorities. Dumping a pet is a cruel act as former pets do not have the skills to survive on the streets.

We urgently need help from the animal loving community to help us find an adopter/fosterer for Alila, the beautiful brindle. She is currently boarding at a vet but cannot keep her there any longer.

Please share this widely. We need to find Alila a home by 26/10.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
