This World Animal Road Accident Awareness Day, we have an incredible recovery to share with you – little Lookphong 😍

Lookphong was a neglected pet whose owners left her to roam the streets. Inevitably, she was hit by a car.

The impact left her with a bruised lung and several deep wounds on her face, shoulder and back end. The neglect had also left her blind in one eye, anaemic and with two tick-borne diseases. 😞💔

With your support, our vets set to work on what was many weeks of treatment for Lookphong, including reconstructive surgery. And on the other side of that treatment is the happy fluffball you see here!

Lookphong has now moved from our hospital to our small dog enclosure where she’s enjoying regular walks, cuddles with her carer and a feeling of safety she’s never experienced before.

With millions of homeless dogs, and even pets like Lookphong, left to roam the streets of Thailand, we are called to help road traffic victims every single day.
