📣 LATEST NEWS ‼ Seven dogs were rescued from the dog meat trade in the province of Bataan, Philippines.

They were found crammed in an old, rusty cage in the front yard of a house; their mouths cruelly wired shut; their legs tied tightly together with ropes.

Despite the horror they had already suffered, the dogs remained eerily silent – completely resigned to their fate. Thanks to the swift action of our trusted partner organisation Animal Kingdom Foundation (AKF), they were brought to safety and are now receiving much needed medical care and behavioural support.

These brave dogs were rescued from certain death just in the nick of time, but others are not so fortunate. While we celebrate these seven survivors, countless others are still trapped in the darkness of the dog meat trade 💔.
