We're Kicking Off Adopt A Less Adoptable Pet Week ..

We’re kicking off Adopt A Less Adoptable Pet Week with Tommy’s story.

Tommy was one of our long-term residents, calling Soi Dog his home for nearly four years. He first arrived at the shelter in June 2019 in shocking condition. A severe skin disease had left his body almost hairless, and he was weak with anaemia.

With the right treatment, much of Tommy’s fur grew back, though it’s still missing in patches, giving him a unique look.

Tommy had been at the shelter for nearly four years and it felt like he was never going to be adopted. That was until a couple from Spain came to volunteer and fell in love with him. They decided to give him a forever home, and he joined them in May this year 🇪🇸 He’s thriving now, enjoying walks with his dog buddies and going to the beach.

Tommy used to be a shy boy, but he’s really blossomed with the love and support of his forever family.
