Milkjelly was slashed across his face and back with a knife while living on the streets. The lacerations were deep, so deep on his nose in fact that his nasal cavity was visible.

Fortunately, Milkjelly had someone looking out for him – a local feeder who called us for help when they found him injured. At the Soi Dog shelter, he underwent reconstructive surgery as well as treatment for anaemia caused by the sheer amount of blood he’d lost.

Milkjelly’s veterinary records went from “aggressive, scared” to “lovely dog” in just a few days as he started to lean into the love and care he was being given. He’s still learning to fully trust humans, but we know from the sweet bonds he forms with staff and volunteers that he’s ready for a home with some humans of his own.
