To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Malaysian federation, catch “The Guardians” on Astro AEC. It is a series of documentaries that showcase untold stories of selfless individuals who played pivotal roles in building our nation.

We will be featured in the next episode which will be aired on Sunday, 10th September 2023 at 9:00 pm on Astro AEC (Channel 306). In this episode, we provide some backstory of our community-based conservation project in Kg. Pasir Gajah, Kemaman; the challenges that we face; and our proudest moments in our terrapin conservation journey.

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
