2020 Continued Soidog20years. A Busy Year Of Sanct..

2020 continued #SoiDog20Years 🧡

A busy year of sanctuary improvements and expansions saw the opening of the first humane education centre of its kind in Southeast Asia.

Local schoolchildren helped us open the centre in December with a small ceremony. Because of Covid restrictions, the centre would have to wait some time to host its first group of young Thai children.

Also completed in 2020 was the construction of an isolation hospital for canine distemper virus (CDV), canine parvovirus (CPV) and feline parvovirus (FPV) patients.

Critical to the health of our resident animals, the isolation hospital would prove to be a vital addition as an outbreak of distemper among the stray dog population followed soon after.
