🌟Dog of the Week🌟 Butterboy was found abandoned in a sand bag by the side of the road when he was just a few weeks old. If that wasn’t scary enough for a young pup, he was also unable to see properly due to glaucoma and ulcers in his corneas.

Butterboy’s left eye had to be removed soon after his arrival at the shelter as it was causing him a lot of discomfort. His right eye, meanwhile, was removed some months later after our vets exhausted all possible treatment options.

It might be tempting to feel sorry for Butterboy, but he wouldn’t want you to. Every day, he shows us the love, resilience and intelligence that all blind dogs possess. Just wait until you see him catch a tennis ball!
