Last Saturday, We Hosted The Staff Of Ocean Networ..

Last Saturday, we co-hosted Ocean Network Express (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. for their one-day Turtle Discovery Trip 🐢

We talked about all 22 types of different turtles in Malaysia, importance of terrapin conservation, and how we can work together and contribute our efforts in the conservation 🌟

On that day, we successfully released 15 painted terrapins into the beach, collected approximately 16.5kg of trash along the coastline, and most importantly, we enjoyed ourselves throughout the day.

Big thanks to ONE (M) Sdn. Bhd. for this awesome collaboration, and for adopting 14 painted terrapin nests at our hatchery.

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
