Malaysia's First Growers' Cooperative Receives Rspo Certification

Witness 25 smallholders from Koperasi Landskap Kelapa Sawit Sabah Bhd (LKSS) receiving the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) certification 🏆. They mark history as the first Malaysian cooperative to attain RSPO’s Independent Smallholder Standard (RISS) under the group certification scheme.

Established in 2019 with WWF-Malaysia’s support, LKSS aims to prepare medium-sized growers and smallholders for group certification under RSPO and MSPO standards. Now with over 380 members covering 16,000 hectares, they embody progress towards Sabah’s 100% RSPO-certified goal by 2025.

A small step is a giant leap for palm oil farmers toward sustainability! 🌏🌱
