Sophie was rescued in 2016 by a cat rescuer after she was involved in a road accident. She had a fractured leg, and according to her rescuer, was also diagnosed as having received a good knock on the head. Sophie started having seizures, and after just 8 months, her rescuer asked if we could take Sophie in and she has been with us since. She is on medication and has seizures now and then – the biggest one recently.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
