Dear all,

Someone asked us about a previous account number we used for MDDB. I think we best clarify to all. When we started operations, we had no plans to have MDDB as a long term project. Then the number of dogs multiplied and we registered MDDB CANINE WELFARE PROJECT. Prior to that we had temporarily used my other NGO Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII) which two of my journalist friends and I incorporated many many years ago for our charity work. We have slowed down a bit and Covid-19 made it even slower. However, the CDII account is still being used for our PayPal account. Harap maklum.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
