2016 saw the opening of the brand-new dog hospital. Almost two years of blood, sweat and tears were worth it. What had been the proud vision of Gill Dalley for so long had finally become a reality #SoiDog20Years 🧡

Together, the unwavering support of Soi Dog’s donors and followers and the sheer determination of Gill had resulted in the creation of a world-class facility in which to provide the best possible care for sick, injured and vulnerable stray animals.

The increased capacity of the hospital was then matched by the increase in sheltering capacity as four more dog enclosures were built to provide a safe home for dogs rescued from the meat trade.

In addition, the overall sanctuary size also increased as a further 1.2 acres were acquired.
