Today Marks Arandys 1,000th Day At The Soi Dog She..

Today marks Arandy’s 1,000th day at the Soi Dog shelter. 😥

Arandy came to us in October 2020 after being hit by a car. We don’t know how long he was left to languish after the accident, but judging by the muscle wastage in his injured leg, it was quite some time.

By the time help arrived, he’d already taught himself to walk on three legs, showing us from the very start what a smart and resilient boy he is. On arrival at the shelter, his leg was amputated without delay.

Arandy is a sociable boy who makes a habit of stopping off at our visitor and volunteer area during every walk, knowing that there’s sure to be a chin scratch, a belly rub and maybe even a new friend or two waiting for him there.😊
