Ah Zee Leftand Came Back

This is one fantastic account, from our reader, Melle:

Ah Zee, my cat, had a stroke attack last year in April. Took him to vet and he stayed there for a few days for meds and recovered. He was fine and well until January this year, he had another attack where he walked tilted to one side with poor sense of balance, i.e. cannot jump off ledge. Again, I took him to vet and he was diagnosed with vestibular disease and possible brain tumor. Vet asked if I’d like to do MRI scan but after discussing with vet and finding out there isn’t any treatment for brain tumour, I declined the scan. Ah Zee responded to treatment and I took him home.

On Feb 23 this year, I woke up to find the living window opened and both cats not in the house. Only Belle was at the carporch. Usually Ah Zee would appear as I feed them at around 9am. He didn’t appear and I went out looking for him. He was missing for a week until I found this lady who does animal communication and booked a session with her.

It was then that I found out he has passed on. He had long discussion with Belle on what to do because he knew it was his time to go soon. It was Belle who opened the window, Ah Zee does not know how to open the window latch. All the information was accurate in the session. Ah Zee told me he was sad to leave but had to leave. He even gave me hints it was really him- the colour of his favourite catnip pillow, how I used to play strings with him. The communicator posted a blog entry on the session.

Am still dealing with his loss. He was such a lovely cat- playful, funny, vocal and loved to be cuddled. Really miss his morning meowing outside my bedroom door and his waiting by the sliding door whenever I come home. He was a really good cat, used to accompany me do gardening- he’d sit nearby.

There’s a metaphysical side to Ah Zee’s passing. Shortly after I was posted to a subsidiary office, Ah Zeehad high fever and couldn’t walk properly- head tilted to one side. Vet diagnosed him with stroke and toxoplasmosis. At that time a friend told me then Ah Zee had absorbed negative energies from my dealings in the office.

The animal communicator reconfirmed this- Ah Zee had willingly taken away all negative energies from my house. He was a special cat. He still comes back to see Belle, I’ve seen his form briefly in the garden and at home.

I’m looking to adopt another cat for Belle but she’s been having this skin lesion problem under her right leg since Ah Zee left the house. And I’m renovating my house soon. Also, I’m giving myself time to grieve over Ah Zee as I’ve been experiencing waves of sadness that come and go.

However, there’s a good side to Ah Zee’s passing. I’ve signed up to learn Reiki and have bought books on Reiki for Animals and Animal Communication. Am more conscious of space cleansing my home everyday.

I was curious, did Ah Zee come back in cat form, I asked….

Yes, he came back in cat form, vaguely though. I already knew he was gone before contacting the communicator – had strong jasmine scent enveloping me in the garden the morning heleft.Just needed confirmation from 3rd party as I was vacillating between acceptingthat he was gone for good and hoping that he’d miraculously appear.
The day before my sessionwith animal communicator,I saw, from the corner of my eye, acathis size joining in the feather wand game with Belle & saw him laying at the side of mybed in the middle of the night. I’ve also seen a pair of cat legs briefly under the bird nest fern (Ah Zee’s favourite sleeping spot).

We talk about Rainbow Bridge – fact or myth? We’ll never really know. Fact, I hope!

And yes, we’ve heard of departed human relatives coming back to visit, so why not departed pets, too?

It makes perfect sense to me.
