It’s #GlobalTigerDay this month, and we’re proud to share that the Royal Belum State Park (RBSP), under the management of the Perak State Parks Corporation (PSPC), has been awarded the prestigious Conservation Assured |Tiger Standards (CA|TS) accreditation, in recognition of its exceptional conservation efforts and commitment to tiger conservation. This milestone has been achieved through a fruitful partnership with WWF-Malaysia since 2017, who provided guidance and support throughout the accreditation process.
This places Malaysia on the map as the very first country in Southeast Asia to implement CA|TS – a global accreditation scheme that encourages tiger conservation areas to meet a set of standards and best practices that will lead to successful tiger conservation. This will hopefully secure a bright future for our tigers! #RoarForTheFuture

Since 2016, Maybank has partnered with WWF-Malaysia to help conserve Malayan tigers in the Belum-Temengor Forest Complex, which includes supporting advocacy efforts for CA|TS accreditation, as well as protection and monitoring of tigers and engagement with local indigenous communities. We’re overjoyed to honour the remarkable achievement of the Royal Belum State Park’s CA|TS accreditation.
