Sunbella Is Shining In The Usa. Sunbella Was Rescu..

Sunbella is shining in the USA!🇺🇸

Sunbella was rescued from a government pound by our community outreach team in April last year. She’d just given birth to a litter of seven. At the Soi Dog shelter, she was able to recover from the birth and safely nurse her puppies until they were weaned and found their forever homes.

In January this year, she was chosen by BnR’s Rock n’ Rescue, one of our wonderful partner rescues in the USA. It was there that she finally found a forever home of her own. ❤

Now named Lucy, her new family shared the following update of her new life as a beloved furry family member:

“Lucy is doing great! She loves toys, treats, cuddles, playing, camping, hiking, car rides, and lounging on the couch. She’s definitely loving having her own home and family.

Gil taught her how to play fetch. They aren’t super close yet but they like to play together in the yard and get along well. Lucy just started going to dog daycare which she’s a little nervous about but warming up to. I think she’ll love it once she’s comfy there. She’s a super star at her training class. She loves going for hikes and when we encountered water the first time, she jumped right in. I’m thinking someone will be in our swimming pool come summer!

I have Lucy in the level 2 training class and am hoping to get her into an agility class after that as I think she’d have a great time. She loves the kids, toys, playing with our other dog, cuddling in bed, riding in the car, going for hikes, all of it. She’s super smart and caught on quick that she would get everything she needed here and didn’t have to worry.”

There are so many dogs like Sunbella at our shelter who are still waiting for their loving homes, and you can meet them here: www.soidog.org/adopt-a-dog
