From rags to riches, this is Titumy’s furrytailending story.

Titumy was brought to the Soi Dog shelter in April last year along with her two siblings. Though just six months old, they were in dire condition, suffering from malnourishment and severe skin issues.

The kind lady who found them suspected that they’d been abandoned as they were new to the area. Unwelcome there, she alerted us before they could come to any harm.

With the right treatment, their skin improved, their coats grew back and they regained their strength and joy.

Titumy’s siblings soon flew to our partner rescues in the USA and Canada and found homes, but it took a little while for her turn. However, a couple who volunteered at the Soi Dog shelter fell in love with her character and decided to give her a forever home in Germany in April 🇩🇪

“She is doing great. She has done her first two hikes in the mountains and had a lot of fun. She was even able to discover a small snowfield. In the meantime, we have a small dog meeting every morning with three other dogs. This way she gets enough exercise in the morning so that she can then spend the day in the office with me in a very relaxed way. Training also works great with her.

We have already been able to let her off leash in quiet surroundings. She is really loved by all our friends and relatives and we are so happy to have her with us.”
