It’s been six years now since Raenia has been living her furrytailending life filled with love and adventures❤

Raenia came to the Soi Dog shelter in 2016 when she was three months old after surviving a near-drowning. She was a tentative little pup with a skinny frame and cloudy corneas.

After spending nine months at the shelter, Raenia was adopted by a lovely couple in the USA who felt that she was their special angel. As a result, they named her Angel after she arrived in May the following year.

Angel’s mom recently sent us the following update:

“Well, a lot happened in the last few years 😄 We all got through Covid 19, Angel actually liked it quite a bit since it meant Jim got to work from home most of the year, while I was furloughed for 9 weeks myself. The plan was that we were supposed to move to Norway in 2023, we had even started the paperwork and looking into moving logistics. Fate had other plans for us! Jim’s job offered him a promotion out of state and since I worked for a large chain I could just transfer. We ended up in Arizona, in a town called (believe it or not) Surprise.

We bought a very nice house in the suburbs so Angel now has her own yard, with grass and shade trees put in just for her. She felt it was even worth learning to use a doggie door for! We have been here for a year next month and Angel is loving the heat.”
