Lucky has tested positive foe e-cajis, which is a type of tick fever. The vet will monitor gir a few days before proceeding with amputation and spay. Doggo also suffering from anemia. The leg round has maggots and the wound infection has resulted in a raise in white cells. Looks Happy is going to have a long stay at the vet. We need help. Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
