Make A Positive Impact For Yourself And For Animal..

Make a positive impact for yourself and for animals in need this Mental Health Awareness Month by volunteering!
When you volunteer at the Soi Dog shelter, not only will you give our soi dogs (and cats) some much-needed love and enrichment, you might just see some benefits for your own mental health and physical wellbeing too.
Studies show that volunteering can offer a sense of purpose, reduce stress, boost your mood and improve both mental and physical health. Combine that with the company of dogs and cats, sunshine and a beautiful beach just five minutes away, and you can’t go wrong.
Here’s a testimonial from Nawaporn, one of our volunteers who experienced this first-hand:
“It was my psychologist that recommended I volunteer. First and foremost, I wanted to find something to do to release stress, but what I got from Soi Dog was more valuable than I thought.
I had the best experience spending time with the dogs. They’re adorable and friendly and give you positive energy. Some of them are shy which makes me like them even more. Some of them are energetic, and I’m so happy every time I walk them and when they allow me to pet them.
The best part is that they are all stray dogs who Soi Dog is protecting and helping to recover. All the staff here are so friendly too. If you need any support, they always help you.
If you have time, do not hesitate to volunteer here. You will have the one of the best experiences and memories.”
