Have You Been Keeping Track Of The Progress Of Our..

Have you been keeping track of the progress of our slaughterhouse cat rescue operation in Vietnam? If not, don’t worry, here’s a quick recap!

😾 Back in March, we rescued 197 cats from an industrial sized slaughterhouse operating in the southern Vietnamese province of Dong Thap. The slaughterhouse had been ordered to cease all operations following landmark intervention from the local authorities.

😿 Since then, there has been an incredible team of dedicated veterinarians and carers who have been working around the clock to nurse these cats back to health in a temporary safe shelter. Despite their very best efforts, we lost many young lives due to the severe illnesses, injuries and trauma they had endured.

🐱 While we are devastated that we couldn’t save them all, we are so incredibly grateful to still have over 40 cats here with us today. Wanting to give them the best lives they deserve, our Adoption Team have been busy over the last couple of weeks finding them loving homes here within Thailand.

And as of today, we are incredibly excited to share that these cats are now on their way to the best destination of all… their forever homes. It hasn’t been as easy journey for these cats, quite the opposite. But with the help of people like you, this has been made possible and these cats have been given a second chance.

Their new families are currently waiting to welcome them with open arms, and hearts. And just like you, we can’t wait to see them living the new lives they deserve.
