Mon is a very special doggo. She was rescued with severe injuries to her back paws. Little did we know then that it was self-inflicted. We eventually found her getting angry with her hind paws and chewing them up. With the help of Dr Lian, we managed to get a vet, who knows about such problems to see Mon. So it is now confirmed that Mon has mental health issues which surfaces when she is left alone. She is on mood adjustment medication currently. Mon lives people and being around people. She is happiest and calm when being pampered. Please come and pamper her at the MDDB Booth at Hall 2 at the Pet Expo Malaysia event at Mid Valley Convention Centre. She would love the extra cuddles.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
