Marley Was Found Loitering Around The Streets With..

Marley was found loitering around the streets with a big lump on her side. We sent her to Gasing where a biopsy was done and it was found to be cancer. We then took her to UPM, where there is an animal oncologist, and after the preliminary tests and marking the surgical site, UPM opined surgery would leave a big hole with no skin to cover it. They advised us that the best option is to put her on palliative care – which is caring for the dying. We try our best to make her happy and Marley is enjoying her life to the best. Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
